So um....yeah. I'm kinda surprised my account is even still here but hey, it's a party.

I left Guild Wars quite some time back, and now have thoughts of picking up the expansions and beginning again. To put some sense of time to it, I left just before Factions was released, and the 55HP Invincimonk had just gone extinct.

So, some questions:

1. Is it still free?
2. Did the economy ever really balance out? Or are people still charging insane amounts for weapon components/ecto/etc?
3. Did they ever nerf IWAY? (Please god....)
4. Did they ever un-retard AoE spells in terms of monsters running out of them?
5. Does anyone here even remember me?

Hope to hear from you, and hopefully return to the game very soon.

1.yes
2. with loot scaling people have gone poorish but most items you wanted b4 u left are probably cheap
3.havent seen an iway in ha for months
4. yes in normal mode no in hard mode

55 is better then ever............mo/d is kick ass, and with hard mode there are lots of new farming spots...

Yeah, I remember you, you used to do that art thread, and I think I played with you a couple times...

Farming builds are crazy now, there are billions of them for everything imaginable. Ecto is cheaper now, 5.5k at trader right now, monsters stay in AoE a bit longer in normal mode, but you don't know about Hard Mode, so check out http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Hard_Mode for that.
